We are not a resort behind a boom barrier.

Ranthambore Aangan Homestay is a family home built around an open stone courtyard at Sherpur village, on the Ranthambore road—eight rooms, one long table, and a verandah that catches the evening. Every safari zone is reachable from the gate.

From the morning hi-tea before the gate opens to the last story after dinner, the day is arranged around the forest, not around a schedule.

Five open onto the stone aangan and three sit above the garden. Whichever you take, you are a few steps from the same fountain, the same lamps at dusk, and the same long table at dinner.

Everything here is arranged from the gate: drives into the park at either end of the light, birding along the water, a walk out through Sherpur village, and the fort on its hill. Permits, zones, and safari vehicles are ours to sort out—you decide what time to leave.
